Read KB customers can only view and search the Knowledge
Base for Solutions.
Read KB customers log into FootPrints the same
way as Read/Submit and Read/Submit/Edit customers. They can have
either shared or unique IDs and passwords. The
FootPrints Homepage is slightly different from the
Homepage displayed for customers with other roles.
Take note of the limited
set of options on the FootPrints Toolbar.
The
options in the Toolbar for a Read KB customer are:
Home—Go
to your FootPrints Homepage.
Knowledge Base
FAQ—Find
Solutions to Frequently Asked Questions
View All—View all Solutions.
Search—Search Solutions.
Reports
Pre-Defined—Access reports created by the FootPrints
administrator.
Advanced—Create your own report.
Instant Talk—Chat with an available Agent (if the option
is enabled).
Change Workspace—Access another Workspace (only available
if the customer is a member of multiple Workspaces).
