Broadcast an Issue to Social Media

Agents can broadcast individual Issues from the Assignees and Notifications tab/section on the Create Issue and Edit Issue pages.

The instructions below describe how to broadcast an Issue to social media (Facebook and Twitter).

Prerequisite

Your user role (e.g., Agent) needs permissions set up by the System or Workspace Administrator before you can broadcast Issues to social media. See Broadcasting Issues to Social Media (Overview).

  1. Select the Assignees and Notifications tab/section on the Create Issue or Edit Issue page.

  2. Select the Social Media Broadcast checkbox in the Send Email to section.
  3. Click the Save button.
    The Issue will be broadcast the next time the FootPrints scheduler runs (approximately every three minutes).
