FootPrints CRM
Bridge can work with different field types in contact records in Salesnet,
but there are some considerations when using something other than a character
field:
Character
fields—Most
built-in fields in Salesnet are character fields, which work well with
the FootPrints CRM Bridge, both in displaying the field value and searching
the field.
Integer
and float fields—Custom
integer and float fields in Salesnet map correctly for both displaying
and searching. You
must be careful that the FootPrints
field type matches the field type in Salesnet.
Date fields—Salesnet—Date fields
in Salesnet should be created as INT fields in FootPrints, due to the
method used in Salesnet to search on Date fields. If this is done, both
search and display of date fields work correctly.
Dropdown
fields—Dropdown
fields in the Salesnet contact list are not supported at this time.
Note
When a field is created in FootPrints
for use by the CRM bridge, that field is available subsequently if the
Workspace is converted to using the FootPrints
Address Book.
